Trucks line up at entrance to EU countries

4.5 thousand trucks are awaiting departure from Belarus. The Customs Committee of Belarus stated that the neighboring countries do not fully comply with the agreements on letting through transport vehicles. The situation was aggravated by the unilateral closure of the Kuznica Bialostocka checkpoint by the Polish side on November 9 (Bruzgi checkpoint on the Belarusian side). Nevertheless, Belarus complies with the norms specified in bilateral agreements and handles all vehicles. Registration is carried out without delay. After passing all the control services on the Belarusian side, trucks have to wait to enter Lithuania, Poland and Latvia.
