The harvesting campaign: the total volume of collected
grain has exceeded 3 million tons. The Belarusian agrarians have cropped more
than 40% of the whole acreage. The Brest region
is leading with 880 thousand tons, the Minsk
region is second with almost 682 thousand tons. Slot #3 is occupied by the Gomel region. The
half-a-million-ton mark has been reached by the Grodno region. The average yield throughout Belarus makes
35,6 hundred kilograms per hectare. The grain is transported to bread-baking
complexes.
