Total of more than 7 million tons of grain have been cropped in Belarus

According to today’s morning data, seven million forty thousand tons of grain were cropped in Belarus. As it was stated by the Agriculture and Food Ministry, more than 90 percent of the acreage is harvested, the average yield is 35.7 centners per hectare. This year harvesting campaign will have a positive impact on the financial situation of farms. The ministry also forecasts a growth in volumes of agricultural production. All in all, there are about 30 percent of loss-making agricultural organizations in the country, 240 farms are in the period of sanation. As it was stated by the Deputy Head of the Agriculture and Food Ministry Vladimir Grakun, after the harvesting campign these farms will become more reassured economically.
