Today Minsk hosts Belarusian-Polish business forum dedicated to new bilateral cooperation projects. The trade between Belarus and Poland totaled over $2.5 billion in 2018 marking a record-high over the past eight years. For the first time in the last eight years, Belarus posted surplus in trade with Poland. Belarus’ major exports to the neighboring country include products of petrochemistry, metallurgy, woodworking, and building materials. The parties have set a goal of reaching $3 billion in mutual trade. New IT projects, as well as broader entrepreneurs’ support, will be at the forefront of the planned growth.
