Switzerland to double trade turnover with Belarus

Belarusian-Swiss talks were held in Minsk. Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko met with Head of the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs of Switzerland, and said that Belarus is ready to provide the Swiss business with favorable investment conditions. The topic of cooperation between the states was discussed at a meeting with Head of the Belarusian Foreign Ministry. According to Ignazio Cassis, Switzerland intends to double the volume of trade with Belarus. Issues related to joining forces in the international arena were also discussed. Today, a solemn ceremony to open the Swiss embassy in Minsk was held.
