The most important sections of the road network of Belarus will be modernized in the near future. According to the Ministry of Transport and Communications, the reconstruction of the Minsk-Mikashevichi highway will be continued. In two years, its section from Slutsk to Salihorsk will be widened. This is a strategic direction since a new potash plant is being built here, in the south of the Minsk region. In addition, the Minsk-Borisov highway will be improved. The section from the Mound of Glory to the city of Smolevichy will be a concrete four-lane road. This year, the reconstruction of the Grodno highway will be completed. And next year they will begin to upgrade the M-7 highway which runs from Minsk to the border with Lithuania.
