Some sections of Belarus’ road network to be modernized

The most important sections of the road network of Belarus will be modernized in the near future. According to the Ministry of Transport and Communications, the reconstruction of the Minsk-Mikashevichi highway will be continued. In two years, its section from Slutsk to Salihorsk will be widened. This is a strategic direction since a new potash plant is being built here, in the south of the Minsk region. In addition, the Minsk-Borisov highway will be improved. The section from the Mound of Glory to the city of Smolevichy will be a concrete four-lane road. This year, the reconstruction of the Grodno highway will be completed. And next year they will begin to upgrade the M-7 highway which runs from Minsk to the border with Lithuania.
