The free trade zone agreement between the Eurasian Economic Union and Vietnam has come into force today. Vietnam"s average import customs duties for EAEU countries will fall from 10% to 1%. According to the Eurasian Economic Commission, this measure can lead to an increase in EAEU exports to Vietnam. At the same time, imports from Vietnam are expected to increase. Customs duties will apply only to the most sensitive categories of products including meat, milk, tea, coffee, sugar, aircrafts and vehicles.
