Modernisation of Belarus" state finance management system is being carried out in view of the socio-oriented policy. The principle of "living within one"s means" will also be reflected in budget planning, as announced by the Finance Ministry. Preparation of all budget process participants to the new conditions and all necessary legislation changes are planned to have finished by the end of 2019. All of that is aimed at increasing the efficiency of expenses.<br>Ways to ensure the effectiveness and sustainability of the budget is currently being discussed by the PEMPAL community in Minsk. The event is featuring representatives of about 20 countries and experts from the World Bank, the IMF and the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development.
