Radiation Monitoring System to appear in Belarusian nuclear power plant area

Ministry of Emergency Situations of Belarus and Russia will hold joint exercises to eliminate the state of emergency at nuclear power plants.
The activities of the Belarusian NPP will be conducted under full radiation monitoring. Scientists will monitor the chemical composition of the soil and surface water, taking into account all the recommendations of the IAEA. The very design of the station provides several levels of protection, and, according to international experts, the Belarusian nuclear power plant will be one of the safest in the world. In order to resolve the security measures in the near future the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Belarus and Russia will hold joint exercises to eliminate the state of emergency at nuclear power plants. According to the plan, the first nuclear power plant unit will be put into operation in 2018.
