Stadler Minsk to introduce FLIRT train to operate in climatic conditions of Turkmenistan

The Stadler Minsk plant will introduce the FLIRT train to operate in the climatic conditions of Turkmenistan, where annual temperatures swing from -40C to +60C and occasional sandstorms are observed. Belarusian Railway, in turn, has expressed readiness to equip railway sections in Turkmenistan with centralised traffic control devices, as well as to train Turkmen specialists to service such systems.
