Share of public electric transport in Belarus planned to be increased to 30% by 2025

Up to 30% of electric buses will run on city streets in Belarus in the next five years. The government has considered a program for the development of electric transport until 2025. As Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko noted, a battery-powered car is a modern trend, and for our country, it is also relevant in connection with the commissioning of the BelNPP. The issues that need to be addressed simultaneously with the production of our own electric buses and electric cars are the disposal of used batteries and the development of a network of electric stations. The head of the Academy of Sciences assured that Belarus is ready to produce its own electric car based on its own developments.
