A Belarusian-Turkish business forum is scheduled to launch in Minsk today. About 200 Turkish business representatives have arrived in Belarus along with President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to consider promising directions for developing bilateral trade, economic and investment cooperation. More specifically, they plan to discuss the implementation of joint projects in industry, trade and construction. Belarus is also ready to provide Turkish companies with venues on the territory of free economic zones and the Great Stone industrial park.Trade turnover between the two countries amounted to nearly 630 million dollars last year, but Minsk and Ankara intend to increase the figure.
