In the village of Shelkovshchina (Chashniki district, Vitebsk region, Belarus), the second stage of the pig breeding complex was commissioned for raising elite Danish and Dutch breeds. It is noteworthy that the new investment project has appeared on the site of an old farm which has been modernized with modern equipment installed. Now it contains 16 thousand pigs. The pig breeding complex is expected to produce about 4 thousand tons of meat annually. All the employees of the old farm have saved their jobs. Basically, they are residents of nearby villages. The staff was trained at a similar pig complex.
