The first BelAZ dump trucks with a capacity of 90 tons have been put into operation in Vietnam. The ceremony took place in the town of Can Tho. The vehicles, assembled by the Vietnamese corporation Vinakomin jointly with Belarusian Automobile Plant specialists, passed the first test in a coal mine in the Quang Ninh province in the presence of Belarusian diplomats. The next two months will see truck trials and personnel training, after which Vietnam might purchase up to 100 units of this machinery.
