Land reclamation, as well as potato and fruit growing with the help of Belarusian technologies will be developed in the Sakhalin region, as agreed by Governor Oleg Kozhemyako and Belarus" Minister of Agriculture and Food Leonid Zayats in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk. Relevant projects are planned to be prepared in 1.5 months. Sakhalin authorities have also offered the Belarusian side to participate in housing and road construction. The region"s plans include purchasing Belarusian buses and municipal equipment.<br>All the topics discussed at the meeting are included in a special two-year plan signed after the talks.
