Potash ore mining on an industrial scale will begin in mid-2016. The Belarusian delegation headed by chairman of the Council of the Republic Mikhail Myasnikovich inspected the progress of work on the construction site of Garlyk mining and processing plant. This is one of the largest international projects ofBelarus. Its cost is estimated at approximately $ 1 billion. Potash ore production on an industrial scale will begin in the middle of next year.
