Russia’s Astrakhan Region delegation visits Belarus

Russia’s Astrakhan Region is ready to expand cooperation with Belarus in many areas from economic issues to tourism. In particular, the region is interested in buying Belarusian electric buses. The Russian delegation has visited the Belkommunmash company and test-drived its vehicles. The foreign guests have also visited the Minsk Tractor Works (MTZ trade mark). Annually the Russian region imports about 250 units of MTZ equipment showing special interest in small-sized agricultural machinery for processing melons and vegetables. Astrakhan is also interested in setting up a MTZ service center on its territory. The sides discussed the issues in more detail in the Government House. Belarus and the Astrakhan Region agreed to formalize all agreements at the Forum of Regions in autumn.
