A record high corn harvest has ripened in the Brest region. Agricultural enterprises have already exceeded the plan for haylage and at the same time are harvesting grain. Up to 100 centners per hectare are harvested from the field at the AgroNiva enterprise of the Kamenets district. The organization specializes in milk production and has seven thousand cows. The harvested yield will allow not only to fully provide the domestic market with grain, but also to make money on the sale. On average, the yield of corn for fodder in the Brest region is 278 c/ha. In total, this year the region expects to harvest 4 million 800 thousand tons of corn for silage. And this is a historic maximum. The region will receive such a result for the first time.
