Real income of Belarusians grow by almost 8%

Real income of Belarusians grew by almost 8%, while the average salary exceeds a thousand Belarusian rubles (over $500). The Council of Ministers held a meeting to sum up the socio-economic development in the first quarter. The rate of inflation is kept within the planned limits, the balance of foreign trade remains positive. 6 out of 7 most important parameters of the forecast of socio-economic development have been met. The only exception is the export of goods and services. The economy is growing while maintaining macroeconomic balance. Forex reserves have increased. As of May 1, they amounted to over $7.5 billion.
