Prospects of work of tobacco branch

Issues of manufacture and sales of the tobacco products were discussed today at a Presidential sitting. The branch is developing actively in Belarus. The tobacco factories are big taxpayers. By the results of this year, the tobacco state revenue is expected to exceed 500 million dollars. Any changes in the branch should correspond to the state interests, the Head of state underscored. The system should bring more benefits. In the 21 century, the tobacco production has tripled in Belarus, while the export has grown 16 times. More than 95% of the domestic market is occupied by local cigarettes.
