Promotion of Belarusian goods and trade audit. Government discussing measures to protect domestic market

Government discusses reducing the import of food products, which are produced in sufficient volumes domestically. The Ministry of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade has developed recommendations according to which the share of Belarusian goods on store shelves should be at least 80-85%. Now it is 77%. To attract buyers, domestic producers need to advertise their goods more and price them aggressively. It is recommended that retail outlets attractively place Belarus-made products and highlight them on the shelf. This also applies to online commerce. Particular attention is paid to protecting the market from low-quality products.
