Belarus" agricultural production has increased by more than 4% over the past 7 months, making up 6.2 billion non-denominated rubles. The average crop yield has amounted to almost 35 centners per hectare. Achieving high performance was possible largely due to the state rural development programme. Approaches to funding have been changing in recent years with conditions being created to enable farmers to reach breakeven. A state programme on agrarian business development has been adopted. The export of Belarusian agricultural products is expected to have exceeded 6 billion dollars by 2020, labour productivity increasing almost by half.
