TheOrelregion governor met with the Belarusian President yesterday to discuss economic issues. The parties agreed to implement a number of joint projects. In order to speed up the process,Belaruswill set up its representative office in theOrelregion and the region, in turn, will launch a similar office inBelarus.<br>Cooperation betweenBelarusand theOrelregion was discussed in more detail in the Government House. Both parties are interested in developing relations in three key areas: increasing trade turnover, collaborating in science and technology and developing humanitarian ties. All of that has been spelled out in a special document.<br>Today, the Russian partners will visit the largest Belarusian mechanical engineering enterprises and the agricultural complex Dzerzhinsky.
