Alexander Lukashenko believes the CIS should be further developed as a unique integration platform.<br> <br>TodayMinskis hosting a meeting of the Council of Heads of Security Agencies and Special Services of the CIS. Prior to the large-scale forum, President Alexander Lukashenko met with its participants.<br>The main task of the Council is interaction of national intelligence services in the fight against international organised crime. Alexander Lukashenko stressed that due to the emergence of new threats and challenges, including crisis phenomena in the global economy, it is important to further develop the CIS as a unique integration platform.<br>The meeting participants will discuss the impact of the global geopolitical situation on security in the Central Asian region, as well as the implementation of the CIS Cooperation Programme against terrorism.
