President of Belarus demands to take into account needs of economy when training and enrolling applicants to higher education institutions

It is necessary to train specialists and enroll students in educational institutions on the basis of the needs of the economy. This task was set by Alexander Lukashenko during a meeting on the adjustment of enrollment rules to higher education institutions and colleges. The Head of State has supported a number of initiatives. Applicants will be able to take tests in four subjects. This will simplify the choice between close specialties. In addition, the President supports the proposal that the certificate of central testing is valid for two years. The number of margin days of centralized testing will be increased to three. The current campaign will be held under the current rules.
