Belarusian specialists will take part in the establishment of a seed-breeding center in theLeningradregion. New projects in the agricultural sector were discussed today by the Head of State and the governor of the region Alexander Drozdenko. The supplies of Belarusian agricultural and road equipment were discussed during a meeting at thePalaceofIndependence. The President of Belarus suggests theLeningradregion to start a breakthrough in trade with agriculture, construction and engineering. Alexander Lukashenko notes that among the regions ofRussia, the Leningrad Region is one of the key trade partners ofBelarus. Last year the mutual trade exceeded half a million dollars. Among the new areas of cooperation are energy-saving projects.
