President Alexander Lukashenko promised support to Vnesheconombank"s activities in Belarus at a meeting with the Chairman of the Russian state corporation. The parties discussed creating an integration development platform to consolidate Belarus-Russia trade turnover.<br>Belarus is home to the company"s branch BelVEB, which provides loans to a number of large domestic enterprises, including the construction of the Belarusian nuclear power plant.<br>The parties are interested in expanding investment cooperation, promoting exports to third countries and supporting joint innovation projects.
