Presidents of Belarus and Moldova visit Porumbeni Horticulture Institute and begin sowing campaign

The visit of the President of Belarus to Moldova continues. Today, the heads of state took part in the Field day ceremony timed to the start of the sowing campaign. Alexander Lukashenko and Igor Dodon visited the Porumbeni Horticulture Institute. The word means corn in Moldovan. Here, scientists test different varieties of this culture. The presidents visited the exposition of modern Belarusian farm equipment, discussed the development of cooperation in crop farming with the director of the institute, and then planted corn on a field. By the way, 95% of the equipment in Moldovan fields is of Belarusian origin.
