President of Belarus met with Governor of Russia's Kaliningrad region

Belarus regards the Kaliningrad region as an important and promising trade and economic partner. President A.Lukashenko declared this during his meeting with governor of the Russian region. A representative delegation of the Kaliningrad region is on a visit to Belarus. A wide dealers' network for Belarusian machines, light industry goods, furniture has been organized in the Russian region. There are prospects for expansion of industrial cooperation, interaction in agriculture, construction and transport. The last year's turnover made made $190 million. The promising projects were discussed at a sitting of the council for long-term cooperation.
