President demands efficiency from agrarians

The President ordered the government to develop a potent mechanism of implementation of the «village of future» concept with regard to regional peculiarities. This was voiced at the national seminar-consultation on the development of rural areas and raising the efficiency of agriculture. More than 250 experts took part in the event, that continued the line of systemic and objective analysis of operation of different branches of economy in order to increase their productivity and contribution to the aggregate national income. According to A.Lukashenko, the significance of agriculture has long ago gained a political aspect along with the economic one.
