President Alexander Lukashenko met in Minsk with the Chairman of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission at China’s State Council Xiao Yaqing. Investments and strengthening of cooperation were the focus of the negotiations. The meeting was attended by representatives of several major Chinese corporations, most of which are shareholders and residents of the Great Stone Industrial Park. According to the head of state, in the near future it is necessary to strengthen cooperation in many areas. These include direct investment into the park and setting up new high-tech enterprises. The scale of the project and its capabilities make it possible to expect a more significant presence of Chinese state corporations, the Belarusian leader is sure. Another avenue of cooperation is development of bilateral projects, the merger of companies and integration of their potentials.
