A new air traffic control center will be built near Minsk in the neighborhood Sokol based on the experience of similar projects in Europe. Today, a commemorative capsule was laid on the site of the construction. With the launch of the object into service, Belarus will increase the capacity of its airspace by about 15 percent. And most importantly, it will increase the safety of air travel. It is expected that the air traffic control center will be ready for use before May 2018.
