Pensions increase in Belarus on 1 February

Minimum labor and social pensions have been increased in Belarus today. Among other indicators that grew are various increments for retirees over 75 years old, as well as benefits for the care of the disabled and the elderly. The payments are tied to the subsistence level indicator that has increase by 0.8 per cent since 1 February. The minimum subsistence level indicator is revised once a quarter. The payments growth for each pensioner will depend on the length of service and level of wages before applying for a pension, as well as accrued premiums and additional payments.
