Parliamentary Assembly of Belarus-Russia Union State

Today Minsk is hosting the 52^nd session of the Parliamentary Assembly (PA) of the Belarus-Russia Union State. Yesterday the PA Council approved the agenda of the forthcoming session at a meeting in Minsk. MPs will talk over the issue of enhancing efficiency in the implementation of the joint programs which include space research, the production of advanced electronics and exploration of mineral resources. Today, the cooperation plan is being updated. A new document for the period until 2022 is under discussion. The meeting will also consider the harmonization of the legislations and ensuring equal rights for citizens of Belarus and Russia.
