Over 6,5 thousand delegates taking part in Atomexpo 2017 international forum in Moscow

More than six and a half thousand delegates take part in the Atomexpo 2017 international forum. The day before in Moscow Belarus and the Rosatom state corporation discussed further joint work. Regarding the joint project to build the Belarusian NPP, the parties agreed to expedite the work on the first unit which should be commissioned by 2019. The second is to go online by 2020. The launch of the nuclear power plant will help reduce dependence on natural gas. The reactor vessel for the second power unit is to be delivered to Ostrovets in August.
