Over 5.5 million tons of grain harvested in Belarus

5 million 675 thousand tons of grain have been harvested by Belarusian farmers. More than two-thirds of the arable lands have been cropped. The Brest region is ahead in terms of harvesting pace. There, the harvest is nearly all in with only 13 percent of the fields remaining to be cropped. The regions of Brest, Minsk and Grodno are the leaders in terms of grain amount already harvested. On average, the yield stands at 38 centners per hectare across the country.
