New rail freight route between China’s Hunan and Minsk opened

A new railway line has been opened between the Chinese province of Hunan and Belarus. The first train carrying 41 containers will reach destination in 15 days, 30 days shorter than by sea. It is the second rail freight route connecting the Central Chinese province to a European city. For Huaihua city, the starting point, the Eurasian railway service is a first. The freight route will be regular. In June 2018 another regular rail freight route between Belarus and the Chinese province of Hebei was launched. Also, in May 2018 a regular container service connecting Shenzhen and Minsk was opened.
