New pellet plant opened in Mozyr

A new pellet plant was opened at Mozyr Forestry Enterprise. The enterprise will make biofuel from sawdust and bark. The staff consists of 16 people. The workers underwent retraining in Zhitkovichi, as well as in Vologda Region of Russia. The plant's capacity is 36,000 tons of finished products per year. 95% will be exported. Many countries today are moving away from coal and peat in favor of clean energy sources. The construction of pellet plants is an order of the head of state. In the future, 6 more similar plants will be created.
