New approaches to agribusiness financing

In the new year, the Belarusian agricultural industry introduces new approaches to financing. This is put down in a presidential decree. A clear mechanism for planning the expenditures of local budgets to support the agricultural sector has been defined. In particular, now half of the funds will be distributed proportionally to the area of arable lands. And the second half is allocated in proportion to the proceeds from the sale of agricultural products. Exceptions are made only for areas classified as unsuitable for food production. Now it became possible to get budgetary financing for the purchase of modern equipment for educational institutions of agricultural profile. Such equipment can be produced both on the territory of the Eurasian Economic Union and elsewhere.
