The refinancing rate went down from 9% to 8.75%. This decision was made by the Board of the National Bank following the meeting on the monetary policy on 12 February. According to the National Bank, the decision to reduce the country’s refinancing rate will contribute to the neutrality of the monetary policy. This will help keep the inflation rate within the 2020 target.
