Natural resources: investment projects

The investment projects to develop potash deposits in Belarus are estimated at more than $3 billion. Among them are the projects to develop the Petrikov potash salt deposit and the new sections of the Starobin deposit. The potash salt reserves in Belarus are estimated to last many decades. Belarus produces some 45-50 million tonnes of raw potash salt annually.
