National Bank: refinancing rate may reduce up to 10%

The National Bank of Belarus does not exclude the possibility of further reducing the refinancing rate this year. The figure can drop to the historic minimum, i.e. 10 percent. The main reference point for the National Bank in making a decision is the level of inflation. It is expected that the prices increase in 2018 will keep within the forecast and will not exceed 6 percent. By the way, in May Belarus saw a record low annual inflation rate at 4.4%.
