National Bank of Belarus retains refinancing rate at 7.75%

The refinancing rate remains unchanged at 7.75%. This was reported by the National Bank following an additional meeting on monetary policy. It has remained at this level since July. Inflation has accelerated in Belarus in recent months. The reasons are the rise in prices for imported goods due to the weakening of the Belarusian ruble. The regulator is confident that the indicator will decrease to 5% in 2020.
