National Bank of Belarus presents updated design for 5 and 10 rubles banknotes

The National Bank of Belarus presented the updated banknotes of 5 and 10 rubles. They feature an additional watermark and a wider security thread. The design has also changed: the inscription "Chairman of the Board" and the facsimile of the signature of the Head of the National Bank was removed. Architectural images are now more detailed. Year of release is the 2019 instead of 2009. The new banknotes will gradually enter into circulation, while those older still remain legal tender.
