National Bank cuts refinancing rate to 9,5%

As of today the refinancing rate In Belarus is reduced to a historic low of 9.5%. This decision was made by the Board of the National Bank last week. The updated key financial indicator will influence loan rates, too. The regulator explained the rate cut by a slowdown in inflation in the second quarter of the year and a decrease in external risks, mainly from Russia. The previous refinancing rate of 10% persisted for more than a year.
