The most powerful windmill in Belarus started operating in the Novogrudok region. A wind power plant with a capacity of 3.3 megawatts was built by one of the joint Belarusian-Polish companies. The green investment project was also supported by the Belarusian and Danish colleagues. Today, "green energy" is a promising direction in Belarus. Only in Novogrudok district the total «green» capacity is already 18 megawatts, and by 2020 this figure should increase to almost 24 MW.
