The Forum of Regions of Belarus and Uzbekistan resulted in a package of cooperation agreements. Thus, Minsk will be able to take advantage of the transit potential of Tashkent and share its experience in the development of the IT sphere. The Belarusian Institute for Strategic Studies and the Institute for Strategic and Interregional Studies of Uzbekistan signed a memorandum of cooperation. A joint cattle breeding project will be launched in the Minsk region. And next year a joint pharmaceutical company will be established in Uzbekistan. Its products will be supplied to third countries. In 2019, Minsk and Tashkent are planning to achieer a trade turnover of half a billion dollars.
