Minsk region farmers continue harvesting vegetables

Farmers of the Minsk region are about to complete the harvesting of potatoes. Over 200,000 tons have already been sent to stabilization funds. The harvesting of other types of vegetables continues. In total, it is planned to store about 57,000 tons of fresh fruit and vegetables and 6,500 tons of apples. The population's demand for vegetables and fruits is mainly met through Belarusian products. The share of domestic potatoes on sale is more than 90%, fresh vegetables - almost 75%, apples - about 30%.
