Minsk hosts round-table to discuss Belarus’ accession to WTO

A round-table session for the business community was held in Minsk to discuss Belarus’ accession to the WTO. Participants of the session discussed the most burning issues associated with the WTO membership for companies and industries and the rules of operation in the WTO space. Belarus’ accession to the World Trade Organization will open up new opportunities for implementing the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) projects, believes Alexandra Solovieva, Resident Representative of the UNDP in Belarus. Focus will be on raising investments, creating new jobs and export-oriented enterprises in the regions of Belarus.
