Minsk hosts 71st meeting of the CIS Council for Rail Transport

Railway experts gathered in Minsk to attend the 71st meeting of the CIS Council for Rail Transport. The meeting noted that, due to international cooperation, for nine months of 2019, the share of container traffic increased by almost 15%. The CIS Council for Rail Transport also plans to consider issues that determine the coordination of activities of the CIS railways in the organization of international transportation of passengers and goods, the joint use of freight cars and containers, mutual settlements for transportation services, and the development of common regulatory documents.
